Other Economies are Possible (Anthropology 340) is designed to begin to conceptualize, research, and practice disentangling ourselves from the narratives, desires, and dictates of capitalist modernity. We read theory, talk, reflect, and collaborate on semester long, campus-based projects that can help us along the way. We have conversations with organizations and groups who are actively involved in the work of building other ways of being, doing, and thinking in the world.
