BSE is located in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Massachusetts, on unceded homelands of the Pocumtuc Nation on the land of the Norrwutuck community. We connect with, learn from, and are assembled through undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty at UMass; organizational and social movement collaborators and friends; academic and activist colleagues and comrades; and the relational, interdependent webs of life that sustain us amidst the commodifying, colonizing power of a dying white patriarchal capitalist modernity.
